Chondromalacia Patella Syndrome

The Chondromalacia Patella Syndrome is better known as the Runner’s Knee (“wear and tear” on the cartilage behind the knee cap) and is known to affect children more commonly than adults. In instances where the cartilage behind the knee cap is frayed or alternatively when the thigh muscles are weak or even when the foot movements are misaligned, Runner’s knee happens.
